Role overview

Hands-on Technical Leadership: The solutions architect will work with our most strategic customers in Israel to accelerate onboarding of production clusters to CAST AI, while ensuring best practices through IaC (Terraform/CrossPlane/Ansible). You will play the role of a customer SRE embedding yourself deeply into their infra team to achieve shared goals to delight our customers.

Technical Onboarding: You will partner with the technical account manager to accelerate time to value for our customers during the onboarding process. Optimization and Best Practices
: As a trusted technical advisor for our customers, you will continue to provide optimization guidance through more efficient implementation of our node and workload autoscaler, leading to greater cost savings and automation for our customers. You will also take a leadership role in introducing upcoming products to our customers.

Requirements

You will

  • Research and develop novel state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms. Topics include, but are not limited to, generative AI with diffusion and autoregressive models, video generation/editing, inpainting, and super-resolution.

Job Summary

The IS team at Canonical supports and maintains all of Canonicalโ€™s IT production services. The team is in charge of running services used by over 60 million Ubuntu users.

As an Senior SRE & Gitops engineer youโ€™ll be in a unique position to drive operations automation to the next level, both in our own private clouds as well as in the public clouds. We do this by utilizing the best of open source infrastructure as code software, software development practices such as CI/CD pipelines, and Canonicalโ€™s leading products for software operation automation.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to the design design, development, and deployment of software solutions using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will manage large-scale MS SQL environments, ensure high availability, optimize performance, and maintain data security across our database systems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day activities regarding the upkeep and availability of all database servers in the environment
  • Serve as SME (subject matter expert) for Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other database technologies
  • Responsible for database backup and restore functions including scheduled tests of DR availability, including knowledge of MS SQL restoration and availability technologies such as Clustering, Replication and especially Always-On
  • MS SQL production database level performance tuning
  • Builds and reports on SQL environment performance and availability metrics and takes appropriate actions to implement best practices and optimise performance
  • Assist in the technical analysis and design for current and future projects

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator
  • Strong and demonstrable experience as DBA in large-scale MS SQL environments.
  • Experience in Postgres SQL management
  • Documented hands-on expertise managing high-volume instances of MSSQL setups featuring high availability
  • Develop and establish policies and procedures related to data security and integrity; monitor and limit database access as needed
  • Ensure all database servers are managed to Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)
  • Document the companyโ€™s database environment
  • Experience with database storage engines and master-slave replication principles and practices
  • Ability to use a scripting language (like TSQL, Powershell etc) to automate database administration tasks
  • Good communication and coordination skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide quick solutions to issues

Preferred skills and qualificationsโ€

  • Experience in cloud database technologies, like Amazon RDS or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in Data warehouse management and maintenance

We are looking for a talented UI Developer to join our game development team!

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble in-game UIs โ€“ we use an internal tool similar to React
  • Create data models for the interfaces and fill it with mock data
  • Edit, support and refactor existing interfaces.

Requirements:

  • Passion for games
  • Experience with React and TypeScript
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SCSS and HTML
  • Technical English proficiency.
