
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies across manual and automated environments. What You Will Do
- Test Strategy & Execution: Design, implement, and execute test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend systems in an Agile environment.
- Database Testing: Write and execute Database queries to validate data integrity and ensure end-to-end functionality. Experience working with MySQL, Postgresql, and MongoDB would be very helpful.
- Automation Development: Develop and maintain test automation using Playwright (preferably in JavaScript) to ensure fast and reliable test coverage.

What you will do:
- Contribute to the design design, development, and deployment of software solutions using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
- Learn to develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions
- Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture
- Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices (e.g. code reviews)
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing
- Work in a hybrid office environment (minimum 3 days at the office)
What you will need:
- Experience with .NET technologies, such as C# and ASP.NET, gained through coursework, projects, or internships
- Understanding of how to develop new backend services in an object-oriented programming language with a preference for C#
- Some familiarity with relational databases (SQL)
- Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks for unit and integration testing
- Basic knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., OWASP, static code analysis tools)
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
- Be fluent in English. Portuguese language skills are a plus
- Have the ability to travel to other development centres for training or temporary job assignments
