The position will be under the supervision of Professor Samuel Dahan, Deel Lab policy experts, and industry partners. They contribute to the creation of legal AI technologies such as Deel Labโs AI Compliance Tools.โ
What you will do:โ
You will work with the research team at Queenโs University as a Research Associate for 4-5 weeks or 160 - 200 hours to produce publications related to labor and employment laws. You will be assisting with the development of legal compliance technology including, but not limited to, drafting reports on legal doctrines, conducting annotation of case law, and to consult on key legal questions in the dispute resolution process.
Finally, you will work with the Deel Labโs experts as needs may arise and will use modern research methods in legal and policy research โ including empirical methods โ to approach research problems and advances in the following areas, in the context of the legal system:
