As a Quality Assurance engineer, you will work with the development team on the implementation of important features for the most advanced static binary analysis engine in the world, capable of quickly identifying file types, extracting content, and validating and classifying complex software packages. You will help ensure high quality of our products while focusing on accuracy, performance, and ease of use. This will involve understanding different types of software issues, designing test cases, and creating tools and scripts to assist in testing.

Responsibilities

  • Work together with experienced developers, threat analysts, and QA engineers
  • Develop and execute manual, exploratory, performance, and automated tests to ensure product quality
  • Estimate, plan, and document test cases (using TestRail), and coordinate testing activities
  • Ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our issue tracking system (Jira)

About the role

We have been on a journey to modernise our data technology stack and have moved to a modern data stack that consists of Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Fivetran, Power BI andAWS. We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer / Technical Lead to manage both the technical and managerial aspects of our projects. This person should be productive, honest, confident, organized, and highly analytical. They should align with the GWC (Get it, Want it, Capability) model and the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, ensuring accountability and effective management.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting the technical direction for projects, ensuring high quality and timely, budget-compliant delivery.

  • Methodologies: Strong experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban, and process improvement.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and data analysis abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent customer communication skills, both spoken and written in English.
  • Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Oracle Certified Java Programmer, and other relevant certifications.Experience:
  • Proven experience in software development and technical leadership.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and applying Agile methodologies.

โ€Working Conditions:

  • Vacation/sick leave/holidays follow the American model.
  • Each employee has 15 days off per year, which can be used at their discretion.
    • 1 day off can be used at any time, more will have to be approved by the team.
    • Each year worked adds 1 additional day off per year.
  • Official holidays: Christmas holidays (Catholic or Orthodox, so 12/24-1/2 or 12/31-1/7), Independence Day (7/4), Thanksgiving (4th Thursday of November). Holidays can be transferred to a different time if need be. You could say that there are 20 days off a year, and only Christmas (24-25) and New Year (31-1) are holidays. .

Wargaming is looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Assistant for our Nicosia office to assist in the day-to-day processing of finance-related tasks. Weโ€™re looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and strong organisational skills.

Reports to

The Junior Accounts Payable Assistant will be reporting to the Head of Accounts Payable. Other key stakeholders include the Head of Financial Operations. This role will be hybrid in Nicosia.

What will you do?

  • Preparation of templates for General Ledger postings
  • Assisting the Business with the creation of Purchase Orders
  • Perform Vendor reconciliation
  • Arrange filing of documents, keeping the information up to date
  • Liaise with colleagues in different locations to request any additional information
  • Participate in any other ad-hoc projects that the Head of Financial Operations might need assistance with

What are we looking for?

  • LCCI Higher in Accounting or equivalent
  • 2-3 years work experience in a similar position
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
