Standard set:
- Passport and its copy

- A certificate or letter from the client company stating the position, salary, remote nature of work and authorization to work remotely from Spain
- Proof of payment of insurance premiums by the company or commitment to register for Spanish social insurance
If you are self-employed and your employer is based in a country that has a bilateral social security agreement with Spain (e.g. Russia or Ukraine), you will need to request a certificate from the Social Security Fund. Self-employed workers will not need this certificate, you will only need to indicate in writing that you plan to register for social security in Spain.
