Planet DDS is currently seeking an experienced content developer/instructional designer to join its training team. This individual will be responsible for creating and designing educational courses and learning materials. Their primary role is to develop engaging and effective instructional content that aligns with the learning objectives and target audience.
Job duties:
- Curriculum Design: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructors to define learning outcomes, design course structure, and develop a comprehensive curriculum.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality course content, including lesson plans, presentations, videos, quizzes, assessments, and other multimedia materials.
- Instructional Material Development: Research and gather relevant reference materials, , online resources, and other learning aids to support the course content.
- Multimedia Integration: Utilize various multimedia tools and technologies to enhance learning experiences, such as interactive modules, simulations, animations, and virtual reality applications.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Integration: Work with LMS platforms to upload and organize course content, ensure proper functionality, and provide a user-friendly interface for learners.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Create assessments, quizzes, and examinations to measure learners' understanding and track their progress throughout the course. Analyze assessment results and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with subject matter experts, graphic designers, and multimedia specialists to ensure the course content meets instructional goals and is visually appealing.
- Quality Assurance: Review and edit course content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to instructional design standards and best practices.
- Updates and Maintenance: Continuously update and improve existing courses based on feedback, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Ensure course materials remain up to date and relevant.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to instructors and facilitators on effectively delivering the course content and utilizing instructional resources.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of adult learning principles, practices, and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of ADDIE course design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of HTML5 based authoring tools (including Articulate Storyline, Rise), virtual collaboration tools and enterprise LMS systems
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS)
- Familiarity with assessment and evaluation methods
- Familiarity with graphic design, video editing, image manipulation, and formatting is a plus
- Demonstrated experience creating curriculum strategies and training plans including analyzing, building, and assessing curricula for asynchronous and synchronous classroom-based or virtual learning environments
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in fast-paced environment with numerous projects
- Agile and flexible to pivot across projects and working styles to accomplish results that fit project need
- Bachelorโs degree in Education, Training, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.

A Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the smooth operation of a Business Development IT infrastructure both on premises and in cloud. We're looking for an experienced full-time Frontend Engineering Manager to join our engineering team and build & lead the 3rd Frontend team. You should be an empathetic leader, have spent part of your career as a senior-level engineer, and want to help build & grow a team of high-performing engineers.
You should have senior-level (4 years+) experience building modern frontend applications, preferably using React or similar framework.
You should have significant experience (2 years+) leading and growing a team of engineers. You enjoy helping engineers thrive and grow in their roles. You should have a very good idea of how to run 1:1s with your direct reports and how to form strong relationships. You should be comfortable with giving continuous feedback and doing performance reviews. You are expected to grow the team as-needed and help lead a hiring process.
You have a track record of managing engineering teams that delivered great products and features. You should be very comfortable working with the Product and Design teams to formulate product ideas, skilled at writing & reviewing technical specifications, and planning work for your team.
